Higher Education Resources and Opportunities for Exceptional Scholars a NJ Nonprofit Corporation was incorporated in the State of New Jersey on August 10, 2009 with the intent of applying for non-profit status under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. We are in the process of applying for recognition as a tax-exempt organization. Please consult your tax advisor about the tax deductiblity of your contributions.

Review Qualification Requirements and Membership Benefits before beginning the application.

 

To apply complete all of the following steps

  • Student must complete the Student Application Form

    •  

  • Parent must complete the Parent Information Form

    •  

  • Supporting documents must be emailed to HEROESgifted@gmail.com

    •  

  • Submit the $35 annual Membership Fee ($10 for Siblings)

Note: If supporting documents do not demonstrate that the student qualifies for HEROES, additional documentation may be required or membership may be rejected. In the event membership is rejected, the entire fee will be returned.
